Founded in 1978 with a single shop on London Bridge Walk, Richer Sounds is Britain's best-known hi-fi and home cinema chain, famous for keen prices and knowledgeable staff. It carries a strong turntable range from entry Audio-Technica and Pro-Ject up to Technics and Cambridge Audio, sold online and through around fifty stores. The company is 60% employee-owned via a trust set up by founder Julian Richer, and consistently scores near the top of customer-satisfaction surveys.
