A 'just add speakers' system: turntable, phono stage, Bluetooth receiver and a 50W amplifier all in one plinth.
Model history: The Juke Box E1 updates Pro-Ject's original Juke Box E all-in-one system with a new tonearm, a redesigned anti-resonant platter and damped DC motor, and electronic (rather than manual) switching between 33 and 45rpm.

Who it suits
Best suited to: listening with zero extra equipment — the speakers are built in. Less ideal for: anyone who cares about sound quality — the built-in speakers limit every deck in this category more than the turntable mechanism does.
Compatibility and setup
- Manual operation: you cue and lift the tonearm by hand at the start and end of each side — there’s no auto-return or auto-lift.
Good to know
- The built-in speakers make this self-contained. External speakers will usually give a larger, clearer sound if the player provides an audio output.
- Can transmit over Bluetooth as well as a wired output. A wired connection avoids Bluetooth codec compression.
