Buying context

None of these come with a cartridge or phono stage as standard — you'll need a DJ cartridge (the AT-XP3 and Ortofon Concorde ranges are common choices) and a mixer with a phono input. Torque and start-up time are the specs that matter most for scratching; for straightforward beatmatching, almost any deck on this list is more than capable.
