Model history: The Maximus Neo is Acoustic Signature's own stated successor to the original Maximus, gaining the brand's Dura Turn Diamond (DTD) bearing with a diamond-coated spindle and a revised AC-motor belt drive with fine speed adjustment.

Who it suits
Best suited to: an established system where the amp, speakers and room can resolve what this deck retrieves from the groove. Less ideal for: a first turntable — the same budget goes much further spent on mid-range separates first.
